Camping at Eridge Park is all about experiencing the traditional joys of camping in natural countryside, with simple but high quality facilities. The campsite at Forgewood is now in its third season and has proved very popular.

At Forgewood you’ll find:

• Pitches in the woods or on the edge of the field.
• The option of real seclusion by pitching deep in the woods.
• A relaxed host living on site in a tent.
• A place for campfires in every pitch.
• Reasonable space between pitches.
• Lots of wild space for kids to run around in.
• A reasonable number of quality toilets, hot showers and standpipes for fresh water.
• A tent stocked with basic foods, local specialities and camping kit you may need to purchase.
• A small number of well behaved dogs.

At Forgewood you won’t find:

• Permanent Structures.
• Caravans and campervans.
• Amplified music.
• Endless rules and regulations.
• Elaborate themed activities. (But we can help you make your own world)
• Unhappy campers who’d be better off watching TV in a four star site.
